WELCOME

I don’t live my life by a script determined by worldly norms or standards; I am not afraid of discomfort or difficult conversations. I am fearless and have evolved over the years. I value "clean energy" from the souls I interact with whether they are family or elders and I strive to ensure that difficult matters are addressed candidly. I promised myself I would do this years ago, and this is the first step toward my biography. I turn 50 this year, and with that milestone came a yearning for depth and a lighter season for the rest of my life. I intend to enjoy the sun and embrace God’s purpose for me. I was born to make God famous and I am anointed to do hard things.

This website is where I share my journey, lessons, and insights to inspire, connect, and empower others. In my blog, we will discuss it all: joy, sorrow, rising from the ashes, and challenging every stereotype.

Yours truly with the Royal Blood of the Almighty

Idalia(Behold the Sun)

She Owns It

Keeping it light, living it full

I’ve spent years taking life seriously, playing by all the rules, trying to do everything the “right” way. Now I’m owning the lighter side of life. Laughing loudly, embracing the messy bits, enjoying the little wins, and sharing it all with the world. This is me, unapologetically real, unapologetically joyful, unapologetically Jackie.

She believed she could AND she did

Hebrews 11:11

"And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered

him faithful who had made the promise."

She thought there was no way she could do it. Every step felt too big, every challenge too heavy. But she kept trusting, kept hoping, and quietly believed that God could do what she  couldn’t. The impossible happened. She believed she couldn’t, and somehow, she did.

BLACK-GIRL DIARIES

        Real and Raw Facts:

  • The Weight of the Pivot: Learning that "soft life" isn't a luxury; it’s a necessary act of rebellion against the "strong Black woman" narrative.
  • The Mirror Truth: Realizing that our hair, our voices, and our boundaries are not up for negotiation or "professional" adjustment.
  • The Sacred Sisterhood: Knowing that some healings only happen in the company of women who don't need an explanation for your sigh.

MOTHERHOOD

Motherhood is the sacred art of nurturing tomorrow while staying rooted in today. It is a reminder that while we build businesses and systems, our most enduring legacy is often grown in the quiet, ordinary moments of laughter and guidance with our children. .

MENTORSHIP

True fulfillment transcends traditional metrics like revenue and growth, shifting instead toward a state of alignment where one's work reflects their core faith and values. For me, the highest rewards are found in the "unseen moments" of impact, such as mentoring others and witnessing the growth of the next generation of leaders.
